New antiplatelet drugs in therapy of cardiovascular diseases

Abstract

The modern trends in prevention and pharmacotherapy of thrombotic and thrombembolic diseases is the main topics of this revuew. New antiplatelet drugs, as platelet adhession inhibitors (vWF antisense), new platelet activation inhibitors (thromboxane receptor inhibitors, thienopyridine and non-thienopyridine ADP receptor antagonists, platelet PAR-1 receptor antagonists) and new platelet agregation blockers are discussed
