Abstract
The chapter gives review on clinical significance, diagnostics and management of varicocele in children and adolescents. It covers conservative therapy based on watchfull waiting.Outcome of different surgical techniques is presented.
Microsurgical repair (microscopic or laparoscopic) with preservation of lymphatic vessels may prevent hydrocele formation and testicular hypertrophy development. Microscope has to be used in subinguinal repairs to prevent testicular atrophy.
