Courtesy in the communication space of the study information system

Abstract

In the article are analysed discussion sequences from internet forum of Faculty of Education, Charles University, Prague, which are oriented at solving problems with students´agenda. There are described the politeness strategies chosen by students to fulfill their communicative objectives.

The students´utterances have features of oral speech and there are transformations in pragmatic factors, e.g. smaller distance towards authorities and less asymetry between the interactants.
