The paper describes career of still not well known person of Czech history of 14th century during the reign of the House of Luxembourg - Budislav Havlův of Vyšehořovice. This man pertaining to lower nobility actuated firtly among public notaries.
Thanks to the connection with Metropolitan Chapter by St. Vitus in Prague he had the possibility to make acquaitance with Arnošt of Pardubice (i. a. written sources tell us that he was Arnošt's personal chaplain).
As a public notary he prepared notary instruments for significant institutions and persons (i. a. for Arnošt of Pardubice and Charles IV). At a later stage he decided to apply himself fully to the Church.
Firstly he was named a member of Chapter in Olomouc, then we can see him in parsonic positions in Telč or in Prague Old Town. At the end of his life he became a sacristan of Metropolitan Chapter in Prague.
Together with his brothers he bought two houses near Prague Castle. Budislav probably was not the only member of his house, who was active at the highest stages of Archbishop's or Royal court as we can guess due to the presence of coat-of-arms of this house in the oldest Czech armorial books.
