Abstrakt
This book examines the topic of Greek-German relations, particularly how Greek society dealt with the legacy of the German occupation during World War II especially with the punishment of Nazi criminals and compensation of the Nazi victims in political, socio-cultural, economic and legal terms. Regarding the methodology, the research relies on a causal analysis of event history and on the reconstruction of historical processes using archival materials particularly from the German Political Archive of the Federal Foreign Office as well as other primary and secondary sources from the past seven decades and more.
