Abstract
The paper focuses on the trends of individualization and professionalization in volunteering in the Czech Republic and confronts it with another actual trend of „return back to community“. It considers the effects of such confrontation on the process of social service delivery and on the future of management model of symbiosis of volunteering and social work.
