The Attempts of Writing the Synthetic History of the Czech as a subject of the Conflicts between Scholarship and Politics.

Abstrakt

The Article is comparing some surveys of Czech history published during the 19th and 20th centuries, especially the textbooks, and describing the conflicts between their authors and the state authorities demanding full acceptance of their ideologically motivated ideas about the nation´s past.
