Abstract
The article contains informations about the activities of one from the few Latin village schools from the period of humanism. We are well informed aout its activities because its last teacher Jiří Hanuš Lanškrounský was killed by the inhabitants of the village.
The existence of this school at Vraclav is confirmed for the years between 1572 and 1598, when three members of the same teachers´family were active there.
