Finds in the representative present-day Czech corpus (laborious enough, indeed) show that (1) after numerals written by words, the incongruent type „dvacet jedna metrů“ has not taken place as a grammatical principle, rather is restricted to everyday-speech formulations and to lower numbers; (2) after numerals written by digits, however, the congruent type „21 metr“ acquired a markedness; (3) the ways how to deal with numbers is more diverse than it was held; to describe it in a grammar, a stylistic apparatus is needed.
