No house divided against itself will stand : an Ecumenical interpretation of Matthean symbols of sin and conversion

Abstrakt

This article applies the notion of structural sin also to the church and its disunity. For this it employs the symbols from Mat 12: 25-32, that give language for distinction between three structural levels: local church (house), denomination (city), and the whole of the Christ’s church (kingdom).

It shows that these structural levels have to be taken into account also when we speak of conversion.
