The Prague Spring of 1968 and the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren

Abstrakt

Prague Spring was really result of a long drawn out process demanding a renewal of the whole society together with its political representation. The uprising was not the biginning, but the end of this process of renewal which had started long before.

The Churches welcomed this process, a common feeling was that democratic Socialism was entierly part of Czechoslovakian tradition.
