Present state and vision of the landscape of the Novodvorsko and Žehušicko region in the Central Bohemia

Abstract
The book is a result of the research project dealing with the implementation of the European Landscape Convention on local and regional level. A detailed analysis of the present state of the area under investigation, its natural and socio-economic conditions are a basis for detailed SWOT analysis of the region. 4 possible scenarios of future landscape development were elaborated, from which one optimal scenario was chosen as landscape quality objective (according to the demands of the European Landscape Convention).
Participative approach to landscape planning was used in the whole project.
