Imbalance in redox system of rat liver following permethrin treatment in adolescence and neonatal age

Abstrakt

Insecticides are widely used in agriculture and their impact on human health is poorly understood. One of them si permethrin that is used as preventive insecticide for mosquito-borne diseases to the entire population.

This study showed its effect on redox and imune system of liver, mainly in case of early life treatment but also in case of adulthood. This could represent an important risk factor for onset of liver damage.
