Helena Petrovna Blavatsky was an important religious figure at the end of the 19th century. As one of two founders of the Theosophical society, she influenced religious life in the West and even to some extend in the East.
The Theosophical society did not flourished for a long time but its message can be still heard thanks to dozens of religious groups that came into existence under its direct influence. This heritage is described in this article.
