Abstract
The submitted text aims at some approaches in the area of education of minorities with emphases on Roma national minority in the Czech Republic. It lays stress on affirmative approaches in education and applying The European Chart for Regional and Minority Languages.
It comes out from the fact that the Roma were and are a heterogenic group, they have right to their own culture, to their own language.
