The Apostolic See is also analyzed as a specific actor of international relations. Thus, its both bilateral and multilateral diplomatic relations are outlined.
Emphasis is also put on its status as a permanent observer at the United Nations. Moreover, some arguments of critics of the Holy See's statehood are brought and consecutively refuted.
