Abstract
This contribution comes up the fact, that at the present time is not available some actual diagnostic material in Czech republic, which would be suitable for comprehensive evaluation of child lexicon. The text is focus on preschool age foremost, specifically on child in the final year of kindergarten, who is getting the first year into the primary school.
The level of lexicon participates in the school success. The pilot study presents test material which is rised under cover of foreign vocabulary standardized test called Comprehensive Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test, second edition (CREVT 2).
The recommendations and subsequent changes of the test derives from the results of pilot study which was conducted on the sample of twenty respondents. This survey is a part of GAUK project with name The lexicon diagnostic in children before their enrolling in school.
