The evaluation of predispositions for sport performance can be the basic phenomena for a successful control and checking of the training process. The application of invasive methods for solving these aims is very problematic and limited these days.
Similar information about speed and endurance predispositions might be obtained from the evaluation of speed changes for covered distance. The slope of this dependence (speed-distance) may differentiate in slalom paddlers with the prerequisities for speed and endurance performance.
Long-term lasting changes of the slope reflect the changes of the athlete training capacity. In high level athletes with fixed technique this coefficient is practically constant during the season training cycle.
