Abstract
This study is focused on the possibilities of using social networks research in analysing multifunctional agriculture. Firstly, this paper elaborates on the concept of social networks.
Consequently, an attempt is made to conceptualising the term “multifunctional agriculture” through its decomposition into economic, environmental and social dimensions. In the conclusions of this theoretical paper, transdisciplinary research using participatory methods, and their role in the research of multifunctional agriculture is outlined.
