Abstract
French higher education includes a large number of state-run and private educational establishments. Educational institutions offer short study courses (undergraduates studies) and long study courses which train students for the purposes of science or high-level managerial positions.
The other type of establishments differs in the condition of their entry examinations as well as in the length of study.
