Abstract
Development, transformation and differentiation of religion in Czechia in the context of European and global shifts. Leading Czech scientists geography and sociology of religion and religionists gathered at this workshop in Prague at Charles University in November 2013.
A major output was mainly lectures generalizing geographic and sociological perspective on development, differentiation, and transformation of religion in this country. At the same time were also discussed new forms of planned outputs as atlas of religion in Czechia, Encyclopedia of smaller churches in the country, new places on the religious map of Czechia, the study of new religious movements, religious and regional identity, the role of religion as social capital, the growth of religious pluralism in the context of global and European transformations.
