Didactical aspects of the development of the language of mathematics

Abstrakt

Mathematics is often understood as the language of science, but we often forget that mathematics itself has a linguistic dimension. In the paper different potentialities of the language of mathematics are discussed.

Then a theory of the structure of the formal language of mathematics is proposed.
