Estimation of the cartographic projection and its paramameters from a map using the Nelder-Mead algorithm
Abstrakt
The software determines 7 unknown parameters of the map projection minimizing the objective function without known grafient, using the Nelder-Mead downhill simplex method. It supports normal, transverse and oblique aspects of the projections and represents the natural extension of the global sampling method, published in 2012.
