Hand-written vs. MOF-based Metadata Repositories: The SOFA Experience

Abstrakt

The paper compares two approaches to handling metadata in a component-based environment: ad-hoc created repository and a MOF-based one. Although ad-hoc repository has a more intuitive interface, it is easier to develop and extend a MOF-based repository.
