On some arithmetic properties of polynomial expressions involving Stirling numbers of the second kind

Abstract

Finiteness of numbers of solutions (n,x) of equations P(S(n,k_1), ..., S(n,k_r))=x^d where P is a polynomial and S(n,k) are Stirling numbers.
