Stabilization methods of bubble type for the Q1/Q1-element applied to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations

Abstrakt

The paper develops a general technique for deriving stable pairs of finite elements with continuous piecewise Q1 pressure and for deriving stabilized discretizations of the Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations based on the Q1/Q1 element.
