Building simplification algorithm using 2D Boolean operations on polygons

Abstract

The article deals with a problem of the shape simplification of buildings. The algorithm is based on Boolean operations above input data set.

These techniques seem to be promissing for buildings of the complex shapes. The results are presented for several typef of input data.
