The article deals with the revival of the British Liberal Party between 1959 and 1964. It analyses the causes of the as well as symptoms of the rejuvenation of British Liberals.
Moreover, it examines also the image of the Liberal revival in the contemporaneous press. In addition, the author approaches the issue also from the perspective of Liberal European policy at the time of the first British application to the EEC (1961-1963), which was one of the crucial aspects that influenced the development of the British Liberal Party at the turn of 1950s and 1960s.
