Glasnost‘ and Early 90’s in Russia – A Farwell to „Literaturecentrism“

Abstract

The article deals with the years 1986-1995 in Russian literature when a censorship was phased out. There was no government control anymore and literature had to conform to reader's demands; because of this, in Russian thick magazines started literary discussions about the future of Russian literature.
