Abstract
The aim of this publication is to off er an introduction into the broad field of Middle and Pre-modern Korean and related texts. The book consists of three parts which analyse basic features of the development of the Korean language and the origins of Korean alphabet, grammatical system of Middle and Pre-modern Korean and chapters analysing various texts from 15th to early 20th century.
Selected texts include a general description of the source,the original text accompanied with a translation and a grammatical analysis with historical and linguistic comments.
