Abstract
Selecting grammatical topics in teaching Czech should follow certain principles. The follwing are the basic ones: proceed from a) easy phenomena to more complex ones, b) congruent phenomena to diverging ones, c) highly frequent phenomena to less frequent ones, d) regular to irregulart ones.
Whilst implementing these principles in teaching Czech, certain difficulties may be encountered.
