Abstract

Nurse-patient relationship, humanization of interpersonal relations and attitudes between a nurse and a patient/client is considered to be a moral principle in nursing profession. Ethics in nursing regards nurse's behavior as moral when she/he protects and supports human dignity of patiens.

The ideal care is protection of human dignity that is enrooted in our conception. It is very important to respect also other principles for the sense of respecting the human dignity such as autonomy, fairness, helpfullness, respect and anonymity.

Nursing is a culture going through historical evolution. Understanding history helps us develop spiritual and moral awareness.
