Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the most commonly prescribed drugs worldwide. Prevalence of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection is high.

More that 50% of Czech population older 50 is infected. Substantial part of Hp-positive persons is treated by NSAIDs.

That is why the mutual relationship of Hp and NSAIDs is so important from clinical point of view.
