The role of Helicobacter pylori infection is explored in many extragastric diseases. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and sideropenic anemia represent the diseases in which the pathogenic link appears to be strongest.
There is also evidence about possible association between Helicobacter pylori and acne rosacea, idiopathic chronic urticaria and endocrinology diseases (autoimmune thyreopathy). Assessment of study results is difficult due to many unstable influences.
