The long-term succession of cladoceran fauna and palaeoclimate forcing: A 14,600 - year record from Plešné Lake, the Bohemian Forest

Abstract

A long sediment core (5.43 m) from Plešné Lake (Bohemian Forest) was analysed for cladoceran remains and chemical variables. This made possible to interpret the effect of climate change upon the lake ecosystem since the Late-Glacial until present.
