Knowledge of osteoporosis correlated with hormone therapy use and health status

Abstrakt

Cross-sectional survey was conducted in 9 centres in Czech Republic. Patient knowledge of osteoporosis was assessed by Osteoporosis Questionnaire in first-time attende and treated patients.

Total of 474 women were studied. Knowledge was found to be correlated with education and experience with hormonal replacement therapy in the past; negatively correlated with age
