Lipopolysaccharide binding protein and sCD14 are not produced as acute phase proteins in cardiac surgery

Abstrakt

Serum levels of LBP and sCD14 are significantly elevated in cardiac surgical patients after surgery irrespective being surged with or without CPB. These proteins are not produced as acute phase proteins.
