Itraconazole in the treatment of acute and recurrent vulvovaginal candidosis: comparsion of a 1-day and a 3-day regimen

Abstrakt

Comparative study. Eighteen patients with the acute form and thirteen patients with the recurrent form of vulvovaginal candidosis received one-day therapy (twice 200mg of itraconazole in one day).

Sixteen patients with the acute form and thirteen patients with the recurrent form obtained three-day therapy (200mg if itraconazole daily for three following days).
