Abstract
The first Czech translation of the Brazilian romantic drama (1867) about the Minas Gerais Conspiracy, an unsuccessful Brazilian separatist movement (1789), and one of its protagonists, the arcadic poet Tomás Antônio Gonzaga, written by the abolitionist poet Castro Alves.
