Abstract

The review study introduces the term help seeking. It both differentiates and describes different kinds of help-seeking behavior.

The study offers a model of process and it also discuss obstacles that complicate a student's help seeking. We analyze two main sources of help in studying: teachers and schoolmates.

In the study, we deal with determinants such as age, friendship among pupils etc. We also focus on situations at which the help-utilization between schoolmates is forbidden or when a computer provides the help.

There are some severe situations at which pupils deliberately do not seek any help even if the know that the need it.
