Abstract
The publication describes the diagnosis and assessment of pain, own pharmacotherapy of pain, general principles of pharmacotherapy of pain, rules for opioid treatment in chronic non-cancer pain, criteria for discontinuation of opioid treatment, notes on long-term opioid treatment in CHNNB, opioid and non-opioid analgesics and auxiliary drugs.
