Abstract

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is a quality system concerned with conditions under which studies are planned, performed, monitored, recorded, reported and archived. At the beginning it was written for animal-based toxicity assessment of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, veterinary drugs, food additives, medical devices, industrial chemicals, etc. for regulatory purposes.

Nowadays GLP becomes a standard part of all scientific work. Experiments on cells cultured in vitro are not an exception.
