Subgingival scaling - curettes versus Vector ultrasonic scaler

Abstract

Scaling (treatment of the periodontal pocket) is very important part of periodontal therapy. The final efekt of periodontal therapy is closely related to the quality and technique of the scaling.

The aim of the scaling is focused on removing of subgingival flora occupying periodontal pocket.
