Political Events Factoring into Land-Use Changes in Czechia in the 20th century

Abstract

The chapter adopts concept of societal driving forces on LUCC. It clarifies major political events and processes and their impact on LU dynamics in Czechia, briefly in 1845?1948, and in greater detail in the periods 1948?1990 and 1990?2000.
