Abstract
This study highlights the latest trends in orthopaedic biomaterials and implant processing. New materials are presented, advantages and disadvantages of bone grafts, metals, ceramics, composites, plastics and bone adhesives are analysed.
The physical, mechanical, chemical and biological properties are specific to each material for bone substitution.
