Selectins - further markers of effectivity of LDL-apheresis

Abstract

It was found that there is an increased level of P-selectin and MCP-1 in the blood of patients with familial hyperlipoproteinemia. After the LDL-apheresis decreases P-selectin and MCP-1 significantly (p=0,03; p=0,011).
