Hormonal and Farmacologic Treatment of Pituitary Adenomas: Apoptosis in Model Tissue Cultures

Abstract

In pituitary cells AtT-20/D16v-F2 significant apoptosis was in our work observed only after ionizing radiation. Cell death and inhibition of proliferation was detected after treatment with photoactivated hypericin.
