Alzheimer´s disease - the malady of two proteins?

Abstract

Alzheimer´s disease is connected with alterations in metabolism od protein tau and beta amyloid. The possibility to affect these pathological proteins by lithium application has been suggested.

A pilot study has been open in the CR.
