Effect of therapeutical doses of radiation on tumour endocrine pituitary cell lines

Abstract

Ionising radiation induces in doses 20 and 50 GY apoptosis in both cell lines, AtT-20/D16v-F2 and GH3. Corticotroph cell line AtT-20/D16v-F2 is more radiosensitive than somatomamotroph cell line GH3.
