Abstract

Brazlian Naturalism is often depicted on the basis of the European movement, although there are significant differences. The lecture dealt with the continuity of Romantic elements in Brazilian Naturalism and, using the example of The Black Man and the Cabin Boy (Bom-Crioulo) by Adolfo Caminha, appointed the peculiarity of the Brazilian movement.
